I think we as teachers should do these following for the teaching of grammar in Text 2:
1. contextualizing grammar: we need to enable students to transfer the grammar taught to relevant situations.
2. linking grammar and vocabulary: we need to take the students back to the link between grammar and vocabulary.
3. using terminology: having a metalanguage may be useful for advanced learners, particularly in discussing errors in writing or in helping them to understand difficult semantic relations.
4. implementing the inductive approach: we can do this by giving learners the tasks of working out their different uses and discovering the rules. In other words, learners are engaged in raising their own awareness of how language works!

Here are 7 key principles to bear in mind when teaching grammar: Build up your own subject knowledge. Give talk a high priority in your classroom. Remember the purpose of teaching grammar. Teach grammar in context. Read aloud and discuss how authors use grammar. Be systematic. Make learning grammar fun.
