What is the best way for saving money?

For me, the best way to save money is buying mutual funds.
I started buying the fund since I was 1st year student.
Buying a fund is difficult to withdraw.
In addition, it also receives interest at a higher rate than fixed deposits which is good for way to save money.

Personally, the best way of me to save my money is trying not to go out of room Lol. When I step out of my dormitory to go to mall or even market,
I pay a lot even if I didn't mean to pay for anything. I think going out is waste my money because I cannot control myself and I really love
to buy things although I don't use it much. I think that I better stay at my dorm and cook for myself haha.

Such as, I have more than 3-4 boxes to keep the money .
First, a small box for 1or 2 baht coin.
Second, a big teddy bear for saving money to the bank and have many bags and boxes provision.

For me, the best way to save money is transferring to another account which doesn't register in promptpay system.
I have two bank account. One was already come with promptpay, and another one doesn't.
When I get monthly allowance from my parents, I will transfer at least 10% of them to non-promptpay account.
I try to do like this every month because my main perpose for saving money is to use for traveling lol.
