What is the best way for saving money?

I believe that the only way to save money effectively is saving before spending.
When I receive money from my mom, I always transfer some money to my savings account immediately.
And, the rest is money for spending.
I also try to be economical. Sometimes, it works but sometimes it does not.

For me, I have many ways to save money. The first one is saving my allowance in first day of month. I save some of my allowance in other bank account for an emergency situation. The second one is collecting 50baht note. I collect this note because it’s a note that I’m not usually got. Another way is collecting 20baht note which including number 24 and 42. I’ve seen one tweet in twitter, they said if you collect notes including number 24 and 42, you will be more lucky lol.

If you have cash, then saving 20 baht a day or even saving coins and just don't even spend them for how many months can really save you a lot but it does require effort and just discipline to not have the impulse to use and buy. I saved my coins for about 3 years in my country and got around 100+USD when I exchanged them to the bank.
