I think that our body cannot produce vitamin D.
That's why we have to eat some kind of food that contains vitamin D.

Vitamin D helps regulate the immune system and the neuromuscular system. Vitamin D also plays major roles in the life cycle of human cells.
Vitamin D is so important that your body makes it by itself -- but only after skin exposure to sufficient sunlight.

I've read that our body must have vitamin D to absorb calcium and promote bone growth.
We can get vitamin D from the sunlight in the morning but I think the sunlight in the afternoon might be dangerous for our skin, so we should get up early to get vitamin D from the sun.

As I researched from the believable website, vitamin D is absolutely important for our lives.
Vitamin D is one of the many nutrients our bodies need to stay healthy. This vitamin has many functions, including:

I think there are many vitamins that important to my life. So, vitamin D is one of important vitamin because our body can not produce vitamin D. Vitamin D has multiple roles in the body, helping to:

I search for some information for you. Our body needs vitamin D because our body must have vitamin D to absorb calcium and promote bone growth. To stay healthy for sure!! Lol, humans need vitamin D because it helps your body absorb calcium. Furthermore, Calcium is one of the main building blocks of bone. Lacking Vitamin D affects your nervous, muscle, and immune systems, and bone density. There are a few foods that naturally have some vitamin D such as salmon, tuna, Beef liver, Cheese, Mushrooms, and Egg yolks.

Here are some of what I think about why should our body need vitamin D:
-Prevent bone fractures
-Reduce the risk of cancer, especially colon cancer, prostate cancer, and breast cancer
-Reduce the risk of diabetes, especially in young people and in those living in high altitude
-Protect against heart disease, including high blood pressure and heart failure

If you don't have vitamin D in your body, only a small amount of the calcium from your diet can be absorbed by your body, and only a little more than half of the phosphorus is absorbed. Without enough calcium and phosphorus being absorbed in your body, your bones would become brittle and break easily.

Vitamin D deficiency in children can cause rickets, which leads to a severely bowlegged appearance due to the softening of the bones. Similarly, in adults, vitamin D deficiency manifests as osteomalacia, or softening of the bones. Osteomalacia results in poor bone density and muscular weakness.

For me, there are lot of benefit of vitamin D such as

-Regulate insulin levels and aid diabetes management.
-Support lung function and cardiovascular health.

In my opinion I think, Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium and phosphorus from your diet and use these minerals to keep your bones, teeth and muscles strong. This helps prevent falls as you get older.
