I think they have made our lives worse. The overuse of cell phone can lead to the reduction of face to face communication.
Indeed, cell phone usage totally changes the way individuals interact or communicate with each other.
Instead of one person physically meet with each other, they would prefer to text their friends because of its convenient.
Moreover, health risks can be considered to be the most important problem of overused cell phones. In general, mobile phones are related to many serious health problems such as eye strain, brain damage.

However, it does not everything in our lives like today I forgot my phone but I could study and did activities very well. I strongly believe it depends on our own behaviours! If we use it wisely, we can benefit from the mobile phone! For example, if we use it only for the purpose of learning such as searching for information and watching English videos, it appears useful and causes no problems. In my opinions, i think it depends on situations. It will make our better and easier such as when you don't have cash and you only have mobile phone, you can pay by using Bank applications in mobile phone. In the other hand, it might be worse when we're in the situation like i and my friends, we didn't see each other for a long time and when we hang out together, we just play the phone not to communicate in person.

In my opinion, it depends on how we use it. Some people use it for a better life. As from my experience, I used technology as a tool for learning in the classroom. I used many applications on a smartphone such as Longdoo dictionary or Thai fast dict to search the meaning of vocabulary. Moreover, I used the online browser to surf the internet to get more knowledge. In my perspective, technology helps me to learn effectively. However, if you use it in wrong way, it will be a weapon to kill other people. I would say it will make other to suffer. So, you have to use it carefully.
