Yasothon
The small town of Yasothon has a relatively low tourist interest except during its very popular Rocket Festival which is held every second weekend of May in general. The celebrations last 4 days but last two days are the most interesting ones with a big parade on Saturday and the famous rocket launch on Sunday.A very nice festival which is the best known of this kind in Thailand but which is held in other cities in Isan (northeastern of Thailand) around the same period. The rest of the year Yasothon is notvery popular with tourists and for the festival the vast majority of visitors are Thai.
