According to many studies that I have read, they have proven that listening to music alters one perception of painful stimuli and strengthens feelings of control. Something so simple as a melody has a direct effect on our neural pathways. So yeah, I think music can help with a broken heart.

I feel like I am very very broken when I listen to those kinds of music. So, I think maybe music cannot help a broken heart person.

When you feel sad with broken heart, you shouldn’t choose sad music to listen. It will make your feeling down. You will put yourself into the lyrics or the story of music so, you will be sad more. The good way is listen to happy musics to cheer up yourself.
