What makes a person boring?

Too much talking - There are actually times that I've placed a phone down, got a drink or went to the restroom, came back and the person was still talking totally unaware that I was gone. If you can't sense that people have physically or mentally zoned out, there's a strong chance that you're boring. There are actually times where you even forget what you're talking about and have to ask me where you were (to which I have no clue because I wasn't listening) and then somehow, it doesn't matter, you just head down a different even less exciting path.

If you have nothing in common and have no engaging conversation, it becomes bland and you find yourself in a boring situation with the person you are talking too. Another boring thing is when the person does not respond or sometimes talk about themselves a lot or just won't exchange conversation and instead just blabber on.
