The men in my family are really good cooks, and they enjoy talking
about food as well as cooking and eating it.

I think Men cook better food, but then they need a helping hand to assist them in chopping vegetables, etc besides cleaning up the mess, they leave after cooking. I have been cooking occasionally for the last 25 to 30 years and personally to me cooking is a great stress buster.

In my opinion, I think men can cook better. Now, many of the most famous chefs in history, and now, are men. Béchamel, Escoffier, Paul Prudhomme, Gordon Ramsey, most of the other celebrity chefs, all but one of the forty or fifty Michelin 3-stars. All sorts of higher-end cooking techniques are named after men. So men, once they enter the kitchen, can certainly perform at the highest levels.

I do not care about if women or men can do it best.
I just do care about if that person if I can eat that dish or not. LOL.

In my opinion, either men or women can cook well. Nowadays, cooking is the most popular activity in society. You can see many TV programs about cooking around you. My favorite one is Masterchef Thailand. If you have ever watched this TV program, you would have seen the competitors are variety of gender.

Personally, I think both of them can be the best in cooking. Inferring from my family, both of my parents are the best in cooking. My dad seasons food in a very different way and it's so amazing taste. My mother is meticulous in each part of the food so it makes her food is so good. Well... I think it depends on their attention to making food.
