The meaning of this verse is it talks about someone who was oppressed by some one and limited the right but he or she does still not give in and he or she still do what they want by don't care any thing like a bird set free.

Honestly, I have a lot of my favorite songs but I only choose one verse from one song that I really love it.
It's from the song name " Follow you" by Bring me the Horizon.
So you can drag me through hell
If it meant I could hold your hand
I will follow you 'cause I'm under your spell
And you can throw me to the flames
I will follow you, I will follow you
Personally, I really love the whole song but in this verse is so power for me.
It shows how much the person feeling in love with someone like he/she being under the spell. It's so romantic to me.

I love particularly this short phrase: If it's wrong to love you, then my heart just won't let me be right! I feel like letting it all out, my heart bleeds...can't take this pain anymore. Listening to Mariah's song reminds me of how I used to love someone so much and it makes me sad to think about it.
