For me, Songkran seems to be one of my favourite festival. I really enjoyed doing a water fight.
There are a lot activities to do in Songkran too.
Normally, my family will go to temple and make merit.
Then, we get back and celebrate at our home.

My favorite festival is Songkran festival because I will live with my family. I will do activities with them. My family go to meeting with my grandmother at Ayutthaya, that is a special period for me. I get up early to cook for monk and go to the temple to make merit. And then I have a party that invite every members to join. Moreover, I pour scented water over their elder's hands, they in return, wish them good health, happiness and prosperity. This tradition of paying respect, is called "Rod Nam Dam Hua". April 14 is called " Family Day" I think Songkran festival is the symbol of start something new happiness and celebration
