Do you eat food that’s past its expiration date if it still smells and looks fine?

I am living with a roommate and we sometimes share our meals or food. So, most of time I need to eat all my food with my own. There are many types of food which can keep fresh outside the refrigerator, then I decide to buy them for every week or twice a month. There was an past expiration bread which I bought last month, it's about two or three day past, its smell and texture were not bad. Therefore, I decided to eat it. After that, nothing went wrong with me, so I thought that some past expiration food is not bad.

I used to eat some expired food because it looks and smells fine.
But you can't drink some expired milk, it will make you diarrhea.
Some researcher says "Food can be safe to eat even when it doesn’t look great or taste amazing".
So, if it looks fine and doesn't has anything happens to you, just eat it.

I do but not all kinds of food. Bread is my exception. Even it is expired, I still eat it anyway. Because it can be eaten if there are no fungi on it. I have to look closely on its surface to make sure that there are no fungi. Thanks to fungi is not good for people's health. It can make you ill.

I hardly ever eat expired food. I will eat some of bread or eat some expired snack that was not expired for long time. About milk or meat , I used to eat pork expired but it was in refrigerator and cooked before eating. Everything is fine for me. Only milk or yogurt that I would not try it when they're expired.

No, I am not. There is no reasons to eat an expired food.
I am a person who is quite hard for food. I cannot stand for any food which is smell bad.
Also, It is not good to eat an expired food. You might get sick after eating expired foods.

I prefer not to eat food that past its expiration date.
I don't know but I have never tried eating it.
I think it's not good for my stomach.
