For me, I always use speaker when I listening to music because I only listen to music inside my private room. And I want to turn on it loudly and clearly. Furthermore, earphone is very annoying for me so I rarely use it. that is why I prefer using speaker instead of earphone.

Personally, I prefer using earphone to a speaker becuase I want to appreciate the high quality of the sound. The speaker provides louder sound and it doesn't hurt my ears as the earphone does. However, earphone preserves better dynamics and sound quality. I can feel the beat inside my ears.
