As for me, it depends on the situation or the person I live with. Personally, I am quite quiet when I am with a person I am not close to. By the way, when I am with my family members or my close friends, I think I am a talkative person. I was told that I talk too much. lol... I cannot deny that I am bad at making good conversations with new people.

The adjective 'talkative' can be negative in some ways! It means to talk a lot! In other words, you talk about some topics so much that your interlocutor can't stand listening to you! If you were willing to ask me about my being talkative in a negative way, I would say I am not that kind of person! If you were willing to ask me in a positive one, I could say I am talkative! I can have a chat and make friends with everyone easily. I can notice my listener's behaviours whether or not he is pleased to listen to me.
