As from my experience, I used to addict using mobile when I was in high school. Back then, I was really enjoy to use it, especially Facebook!! I can played for 5-6 hours long. What is turning point, my mom reminded me that you have to focus on what is in front of you on real life or people surrounding you, not on social media. Care more about what is around you! It show how we respect each other!! From then on, I try to stop using it at all and turn to find interesting to do such as drawing and painting. For now, I can say I can stay without social media! I just have it in order to get information from Facebook and Line groups.

Well, I don't exactly know about great answers for the question because I am not really addicted to mobile phone.
Anyway, if I want to fix this issue, I will find anythings to do such as reading books, listening to music, playing game on laptop and so on.
I think I am not addicted to my smartphone but I am addicted to my laptop. I always use my laptop when I am in my room.

I am sorry to say that I cannot provide you with good solutions. lol
Because I am a person who is addicted to mobile phone.
If I have to give you the way to solve it, I will suggest that just trying to not using it. Haha
When I was in New Zealand, I used to be banned to use my mobile phone for 7 months.
Even I was banned to use it but I always broke that rule. lol

I think it is different between addicted to mobile phone and social media. I use my phone for important reasons or relaxing myself. But I am in the process of social media detox and it works well. For my suggestion, you have to delete those applications because it causes you more difficulties to access. You will get bored and stop using it. Next step, try not to post especially Instagram story. If you could do like my suggestion, you will be able to stop using social media or even mobile phone.

I must admit I'm a person who really addicts mobile phone. However, one of the ways to stop being a mobile addict is turn on disturb mode and reading books. If you turn on the disturb mode on your mobile phone, you will not see any notification on your mobile phone. For this reason, you will have more concentration on reading books. So, don't forget to turn on disturb mode on your mobile phone before you are going to do something.

Honestly, I'm a person who addicts mobile phone but I would say that I use my mobile phone for appropriate reasons.
For example, I use it for searching information and relaxing myself.
The two ways that I usually do when I want to decrease time with using mobile phone are
1) delete that application and 2) turn on airplane mode. They help me a lots and I suggest you to do!

Being with your friends is the way to help me away from my cellphone.
You may find some interesting books to read or do a lot of work to make it up to date.
I think doing works helps me away from my cellphone a lot.

I have been addicted to surfing and playing games on mobile phone since I was in the first year of university.
I try to use it less but it tends to gain more. So suffered.

You might need to be at the place that have no signal or wifi. LOL
I have been to the camp which there is no signal.
I barely use and charge my phone because I have nothing to do with it.
You can try it! Turn off your cellular data or your wifi router. It might help.

I've tried to do like this and It works for me.
Turn off as many push notifications as possible
You don’t have to be interrupted by every “like” that your latest Instagram picture receives or with the message that your favorite podcast just released a new episode.
An incredibly simple way to cut down on distractions is to turn off push notifications for as many apps as you can.

This is the tough one because It is hard for me too.
But there are many ways to stop being a mobile addict. In my opinion, I think you should put your phone away. I mean put you mobile phone somewhere you cannot see it. Moreover, try to take a mobile phone holiday. You might go on a trip or camping where there will be no mobile phone service. It might hard but it helps a lot.

From my experience, when I want to stop being mobile addict, I will avoid using mobile phone and do other activities for averting the interesting form your mobile phone. You can clean your room, watch your clothes, and read a book. It is up to your interest. You should limit your time for using your mobile phone. While you are working, you should turn off your notification and alert because it will catch your attention.I know it is very hard to stop being a mobile addict but let's try it together!

Maybe we should try to focus on something that we are interested in.
For me, when I feel like I'm addicted to a mobile phone too much I will find some good books or novel to read. Sometimes, I will go out to do some outdoor activities with friends.

It seems difficult for me to give a reply. LOL I myself am the one who is addicted to using mobile phone or even social medias. I once tried to ignore Instagram and Facebook, yet I failed in doing so. However, one of the effective ways which appears to be used widely is finding interesting books to read. If you are into reading books, you will be able to stop using mobile phone for sure. I have to try that myself, too!

I am here to gain some beneficial suggestions because I am addicted to the phone. I want to solve this problem with myself. I try many ways that will make me not to spend too much time on the phone. Moreover, I have been addicted to an application. It is the app for reading fiction online. Since I have this app on my phone, I am losing my responsibilities and use the phone to read the fiction all day. This is not good for me at all that I need to change my old habits. I will try to read everyone's suggestions.

To be honest, I am the one that addicts mobile phone, too. It used to delete the applications that I like using the most, but I installed it again. I tried many ways that I always failed. I think the way that suits me the most is hanging out with my friends. Talking with them and playing with them by not picking up the mobile phone is the best way for me to reduce me from being a mobile addict.

I truly say that I can't stop being a mobile addict.
I love to play games on a mobile phone and chat with my friends. The only way I used to stop being a mobile addict is using a stopwatch and it works well only when I have the midterm exam or final exam.

As you may know, that stops being a mobile addict is quite difficult for us.
So I would like to share the effective ways that I have used and I can say that it is work.
For my solution are:
1. Setting the time table for using mobile phone.
2. Setting the rules and punishments.
3. Obeying those rules.

In general, everyone wants to play the mobile phones all the time and everywhere. To use the mobile phone can be good or bad in the same way so if you do is Friday good Friday is will be the best thing for you but if you use or miss use it to do something is Ruby is advantages to you and there are hard to stop play the mobile phones
1. Go to do something that you love.
2. Go to sleep.
3. Go to relaxing places
4. Go take deep in the fresh air

I have to confess that I'm a mobile-addicted person. I spend a lot of time using my mobile phone. I have got so much struggle in life using mobile phone but it still using it. Avoiding using mobile phone is not that easy but it is not that hard! I sometimes do a social detox in order to help me to reset my mental health and pause from a social life! I recommend you to do the social detox, it will help you a lot.

Its very difficult to break phone addiction, but here are few things you can try. I have also tried these things to overcome the senseless usage of smartphones.
-Try to ristrict your usage to productive usage like for work purpose or if you need to contact someone.
-Try and avoid keeping handset in hands all the time, instead keep it in trouser pocket.
-Uninstall all the games from phone and if you love playing some games, then play them once a week or use your PC

In my opinion, the best way to stop being a mobile addict is Social detox. You have to cut off your social medias and then you have to turn of your phone. Finding someplace that make you feel relax and did not want to use the phone. This is the way to choose to stop being a mobile addict.

I am not a mobile addict.
I think it is because I try to find activities to do.
I like to go to many places and I don't really like to take a photo or using social media.
If I go to places, I like to take my time, stay in that moment and remember things by my eyes.
