I think it's both but if someone not fear anything most of them still a live but many people who loss love are opposite.
I think both of that can move we do anything. How about you? does 2 things are important to move your life?

For me, we are still alive because of LOVE!
It is true that FEAR make us want to improve our life to be better.
But, I think, if we don't really have love in our daily life then life cannot be moving forward.
Both are important but LOVE is more important thane FEAR.
Without love we cannot life, without fear we cannot improve!

Firstly, I think people are still alive because of love, but after I studied Inroductory to Prose and Poetry with a lecturer I changed my mind already. He said that people live in the earth because of fear. It makes me realize that we still alive because of fear like fear of death. If we only have love how can we spend our lives actively?

Both fear and love make us still alive. Falling in love with someone is the easy part, staying in love for a long time is what matters the most. The one who loved more suffers more. And once you have been in that kind of situation you tend to avoid it because of the fear of reaching that state again. You avoid falling in love again because you don’t wanna get hurt again. I think this is why people fear to love.

In my opinion, Fear is the most powerful thing to make me still fight for the living. the reason why I choose fear instead of love is I fear to lose my beloved family.
