For my mom's birthday, I always send her a special gift.
When I studied in high school, I used to cook special meals for her.
But now I don't live with her, I just send her a gift.

For me, I'll be around her for her birthday and treat her to a meal that she wants and enjoys. My mum likes just the small things and doesn't have to be extravagant in any way. She just wants company from her sons.
