American or British accent? Why?

Personally, I prefer an American accent to a British one. Since I was inspired to learn English by those American singers and stars, the American accent seems much easier for me. I find the British accent interesting, yet it is a bit difficult to speak out or even to listen. LOL However, I oftentimes speak in a mixed accent despite the fact that I get familiar with the American one. I think I will be trying to imitate a proper British accent so that I will be able to understand those who speak with this accent. What about yours?

This is very controversial that English does not consist of just two accents.
Even America does not have official language. Though we must think about world Englishes.
I personally do not focus too much on specific accent since we mingle them all to be our own accent.
I tend to prefer American to British accent since it is easy to comprehend.
However, it does not matter using one accent.
Both are perfect.

American accent is very easy to listen while British accent is unclear and messy for me.
I think I begin praticing my listening skill with American accent so I prefer the accent.

Such a lovely question! I love both American and British accents. I used to speak in American accent since I first studied Phonetics. However, recently, I change of heart. British accent is my preference since I find it interesting and charismatic. Although British is now my go-to accent, I still switch into American accent since some words are easier to be pronounced.

For me, I prefer American Accent because I think it is normally be used in most of Thai people. I love American accent because I
used to it and it is very easy to pronouce the words. Both American and British accent have something in detailed. So as we are country adopping

Personally, I prefer American accent because it is very easier for understanding in many skill. It is easier because it has rules less than British accent. Another reason is movies. I love watching movie for practicing my English skill and most of movies that I watch are American accent. So, I receive American accent from them. By the way every accents are acceptable for me.

I prefer British accent. One of the reason is my dad, he is British. And I love to watch series with British accent such as "Downtown Abbey". It is hard to speak English with British accent. Normally, I speak both American and British accent. American accent is easier to pronounce and understand. So I speak English with the American accent more than British accent.

I cannot tell you about my accent exactly. I think that I use both of these accents. Sometimes, I think that the British accent is wonderful and I want to speak like the British people. There is also sometimes that I use a lot of American accents. It just depends on my moods and the ways to speak. I cannot use just only one accent to speak. I think that we can combine it to make your way in speaking.

But I don't know why whenever I have to speak it is going to be like American accent.

Well... If you asked me what does the accent that I prefer, I would tell you that I love how people speak in British accent. Actually, I cannot speak English as British accent as well, but I believe that people have their own accent. I am the one who want to try to speak in many accents. As my friends have known well, I usually speak in Filipino accent. However, I try to hard to speak in British or American accents as normal people.
