What is Thai festival which you like the most?

Absolutely, it's Songkran, for me. Not only do I get to play water with my friends, and get heat away from my body, I also get to spend time with my family since it always has 3 days off in a row. Look at how nice it is! I always plan to go back to my hometown because I really miss my family. I look forward to it, like very really.

For me, there are two festivals that I like the most.
First is New Year in January.It is time to start new things.There are few days of holiday that I can spend time with family. I  love the weather in winter season.I also love the atmosphere when people celebrate by drawing lots to get the gifts and by lighting up firework.Second is Songkran. The same reason is having time with family.I and my family can go travel and go to temple together.It is also the time that I can reunite with my high school friends.Even I don’t like the hot weather in April,I do love festival in this month.

Thai festival that I like the most is Songarn festival. I like this festival because it is the new year celebration of Thai culture. The unique of this festival is a water fight. Every road is crowded with many people for having a water fighting that is the highlight in Songarn. Another special thing is every family will celebrate together and have some special meal. This festival is very special for most of Thai people because it is the old tradition and everyone enjoy it.

My favourite Thai festival is absolutely Songkran Days. Songkran is one of the most popular festivals in Thailand. People will stop doing their works and go back to visit their parents. It takes three days for this festival. Songkran Days give me a chance to go back to visit my parents at Sisaket and Ubonrarchathani. I really love Songkran!

I like Pheetakhon festival or Thai Ghost Mask festival at Loei Province, Thailand.
I have participated in this festival over three times. I love how people wear colorful masks and costumes. There is a smaller parade in the morning and all of Pheetakhon are celebrate and dance along with the parade. I have been a guide in the Pheetakhon festival when I was in grade seven. I'm very happy at that time.

I could say that Thai festivals are the most interesting! Personally, New Year holiday is my favorite festival. Everything seems joyful during this day. I meet my closed ones and have conversations from childhood to my current life, recalling all those past moments brings smiles on everyone's face. I think that It would be the Songkran festival that I like the most. On the Songkran days, my family will come home spending time together. Because of the long period of the holiday, we can do a lot of things together. For example, we will cook a big meal for the whole family and enjoy having it. Personally, Thai festival that I like the most is Loy Kra Tong. I love the atmosphere in the night at Loy kra Tong, it has many kind of shop for shopping and buying with friends. In Loy Kra Tong day , it has the music for enjoying and decorating right for taking photos. Moreover., in this festival I love to enjoy walking and buying food with friends.

The most favourite festival goes to Rocket Festival. Do you know this festival? It's the most famous festival of Yasothon in which my hometown is located. This festival is anually held in between May and June since it's rainy season. According to the legend, the rocket's fired to the sky so as to remind Phaya Than that it's time to bring rain to the earth. I love this festival because my relatives from every part of the country come and join it. It's like a reunion party. I extremely love a moment that everyone is at home and celebrates the festival together.

Loy Krathong festival is my favorite Thai festival. I come from Chiangrai which is the northern province of Thailand. For the northern provinces of Thailand, they are famous in Loy Krathong festival. Loy Krathong festival is called 'Yi Peng festival' in the local areas. Many tourists enjoy Loy Krathongs or Yi Peng festival in the northern provinces a lot. Although I am not living in Chiangrai right now, I still miss the atmosphere of this festival in my hometown. I like the way Krathongs float in the river and the way lanterns float in the air and decorate the sky with orange light.
