How to say No?

Saying NO is very difficult at times. The other person’s request and expectations could be need-based. The other person could be in dire need of help. Before saying Yes or No, we need to assess from the feasibility angle. If it doesn’t cost us considerable money, time or resources, or is reasonable and fair to fulfill from our end, we should do what is needed.

Personally, The way to say No in my mind is I will tell directly to him or her. Because in the past I did not know the way how to say No or regret in appropriate way. But when I go abroad, my friends told me that you have to tell him or her directly that is the best way to say No.

I think confidently and politely say and do what you believe in irrespective of what others might think, say or do and then you'll realize that more people respect you for being honest and straightforward (that doesn't mean be rude, you can say no strongly yet politely).
